7 Layer Cobb Salad Dip

7-Layer Cobb Salad Dip
This flavorful and visually stunning dip takes everything you love about a classic Cobb salad and reimagines it as the ultimate crowd-pleasing appetizer. With layers of tender chicken, crisp greens, smoky bacon, and tangy blue cheese piled over a creamy ranch foundation, it’s the perfect dish to scoop, share, and savor.

Ingredients

For the Creamy Ranch Layer:

  • Sour cream – 1 cup
  • Softened cream cheese – 8 oz
  • Ranch seasoning mix – 1 (1 oz) packet

For the Salad Layers:

  • Cooked chicken breast, finely diced – 1 cup
  • Chopped romaine lettuce – 1 cup
  • Roma tomatoes, diced – 3
  • Hard-boiled eggs, chopped – 3
  • Green onions, thinly sliced – 3
  • Grilled corn kernels – 1 cup
  • Thick-cut bacon, cooked and chopped – 6 slices
  • Crumbled blue cheese – ¾ cup

Instructions

1. Cook the Bacon:
In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy and golden brown. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess grease. Set aside to cool.

2. Prepare the Ranch Layer:
In a mixing bowl, blend together the sour cream, softened cream cheese, and ranch seasoning mix until smooth and creamy. This will serve as your base layer.

3. Assemble the Dip:
Using a clear glass serving dish—such as a trifle bowl or wide, shallow bowl—spread the ranch mixture evenly along the bottom. Then carefully layer the remaining ingredients in the following order to create a beautiful presentation:

  • Diced chicken breast
  • Chopped romaine
  • Roma tomatoes
  • Hard-boiled eggs
  • Sliced green onions
  • Grilled corn
  • Crispy bacon
  • Blue cheese crumbles

4. Chill Before Serving:
Cover the assembled dip with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours. This resting time allows the flavors to come together and makes the dip easier to serve.

5. Serve and Enjoy:
Serve the Cobb Salad Dip cold with hearty dippers like pita chips, crackers, or crunchy vegetable sticks. It’s the perfect appetizer for parties, potlucks, or game days.
