Baked Bacon Cheese Sliders

Slider Filling

🔪 Instructions

  1. Prepare the Rolls
    Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the sweet rolls horizontally and arrange the bottom halves in a greased baking dish.
  2. Melt the Cheese
    Sprinkle shredded cheddar evenly over the roll bottoms. Bake briefly just until the cheese begins to melt. Remove and set aside.
  3. Cook the Beef
    In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onions until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  4. Mix the Filling
    Add the drained diced tomatoes, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper to the beef mixture. Stir well to combine.
  5. Build the Sliders
    Spread the beef mixture evenly over the melted cheese on the rolls. Top with remaining cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon. Place the roll tops over everything.
  6. Add the Glaze
    In a small bowl, combine butter, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Brush this glaze generously over the tops of the sliders. Sprinkle sesame seeds if you like.
  7. Bake and Serve
    Bake uncovered for 15–20 minutes until the tops turn golden brown and slightly crispy. Slice, serve warm, and enjoy the applause from your hungry guests!
