These Cream Cheese Squares offer a luscious and creamy dessert experience, featuring a crisp, buttery graham cracker base topped with a smooth and tangy cream cheese layer. Simple to prepare, they make a perfect sweet treat or a wonderful addition to any party spread.

Ingredients:

For the Crust

IngredientAmount
Graham cracker crumbs1 ½ cups
Melted butter½ cup

For the Filling

IngredientAmount
Cream cheese (softened)16 ounces
Granulated sugar1 cup
Vanilla extract1 teaspoon
Large eggs2
All-purpose flour¼ cup

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs with the melted butter until the crumbs are evenly coated. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese using an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Add the sugar and vanilla extract, continuing to beat until fully incorporated.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition until well combined. Gradually add the flour, mixing just until smooth and free of lumps. Avoid overmixing once the flour is added.
  5. Pour the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crust in the pan. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center still has a slight jiggle when gently shaken.
  6. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely on a wire rack. After cooling, place the pan in the refrigerator to chill for at least 2 hours to help the squares firm up for easy slicing.
  7. Once chilled and set, cut into squares. Serve cold and enjoy!
