CREAMY CHICKEN MOZZARELLA PASTA

Creamy Chicken Mozzarella Pasta is a comforting, Italian-style favorite packed with tender chicken, melted mozzarella, and pasta coated in a smooth, creamy sauce. It’s a simple yet impressive meal that’s perfect for weeknights or entertaining guests.


🍝 Ingredients

  • Penne pasta (or preferred type) – 12 oz (340 g)
  • Boneless, skinless chicken breasts – 1 lb (450 g), cut into small cubes
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese – 2 cups (200 g)
  • Heavy cream – 1 cup (240 ml)
  • Butter – 2 tbsp
  • Garlic, minced – 2 cloves
  • Dried basil – 1 tsp
  • Dried oregano – 1 tsp
  • Red pepper flakes (optional) – ½ tsp
  • Salt and black pepper – to taste
  • Fresh parsley, finely chopped – for garnish

👩‍🍳 Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Step 2: Sear the Chicken
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté briefly until aromatic. Add the chicken pieces, seasoning with salt, pepper, basil, and oregano. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through.

Step 3: Prepare the Sauce
Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream. Stir for about 2 minutes to blend flavors, then slowly add the shredded mozzarella. Stir until the cheese melts and the sauce becomes creamy and smooth.

Step 4: Combine Everything
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss well to coat in the creamy mozzarella sauce. Adjust seasoning if needed.

Step 5: Serve and Garnish
Transfer to a serving dish and top with fresh parsley.
