🥣 Instructions
Step 1: Prep the Baking Dish
Generously coat the inside of your baking pan (either 8″×8″ or 9″×13″) with non-stick cooking spray to prevent sticking.
Step 2: Layer the Pie Filling
Spread the canned pie filling evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Choose your favorite flavor — cherry, apple, peach, or blueberry all work beautifully.
Step 3: Add the Cake Mix
Evenly sprinkle the dry Golden Yellow Cake Mix over the fruit layer. Use the mix as-is — no need to add eggs, milk, or oil.
Step 4: Add Butter Pats
Slice the butter into thin pieces and place them across the top of the cake mix, leaving small gaps between each piece so it melts evenly.
Step 5: Sweeten & Spice
Dust the top with sugar for extra sweetness and a touch of caramelization. Sprinkle cinnamon over the surface for a warm, spiced aroma.
Step 6: Bake the Cobbler
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25–35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbling at the edges.
Step 7: Cool & Serve
Let the cobbler cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream for the perfect comfort dessert.
