Hands down, my nana won’t be at the Christmas dinner without this dish!

This bright and tangy Cranberry Pineapple Jell-O Salad is a delightful addition to any festive table. The balance of sweet pineapple and tart cranberries, combined with the smooth texture of Jell-O, makes it a refreshing and colorful side dish for any occasion.


Cranberry Pineapple Jell-O Salad

Ingredients

Jellied cranberry sauce1 can (14 oz)
Raspberry or cranberry-flavored Jell-O1 package (6 oz)
Crushed pineapple, drained (juice reserved)1 can (20 oz)
Chopped pecans1 cup
Boiling water1 cup
Cold water½ cup

How To Make Cranberry Pineapple Jell-O Salad

Step 1: Dissolve the Jell-O
In a large bowl, combine the Jell-O mix with 1 cup of boiling water. Stir thoroughly until the powder is completely dissolved.

Step 2: Add Liquids
Mix in ½ cup of cold water along with the reserved pineapple juice (you should have around ½ to ¾ cup). Stir until blended.

Step 3: Add Cranberry Sauce
Break apart the jellied cranberry sauce with a fork, then add it to the Jell-O mixture. Stir until evenly incorporated.

Step 4: Mix in Pineapple and Pecans
Fold in the drained crushed pineapple and chopped pecans until well combined.

Step 5: Chill to Set
Pour the mixture into a serving dish or mold. Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours, or until completely set.

Step 6: Serve and Enjoy
Once firm, slice or scoop the salad and serve chilled.
