For the Cream Cheese Glaze

Milk1–2 tbsp

👨‍🍳 How to Make It

Prepare the Dough
In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until it starts to foam.
Stir in sugar, melted butter, eggs, and salt. Gradually mix in flour until a soft dough forms.
Knead the dough by hand or mixer for 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Transfer to a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1–2 hours or until doubled in size.

Make the Filling
In a small bowl, stir together brown sugar and cinnamon.
Roll the risen dough into a 16×12-inch rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
Spread softened butter over the dough, then sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly.

Form the Rolls
Starting from the long side, roll the dough into a tight log. Cut into 12 even slices.
Place slices into a greased baking dish. Cover and let rise for 30–45 minutes until fluffy.

Bake the Rolls
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Bake for 22–25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.

Make the Glaze
Whip the cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla and beat until fluffy.
Add milk, a little at a time, until the glaze is silky and spreadable.

Finish and Serve
Spread glaze generously over the warm rolls so it melts into the spirals.
Serve immediately—and enjoy every warm, gooey bite.

🍽️ Tips & Variations

  • Overnight Option: Assemble the rolls ahead of time and refrigerate overnight. Let rise at room temperature before baking.
  • Extras: Add chopped nuts or raisins to the filling for added crunch or sweetness.
  • Flavor Boost: Stir in orange zest or a pinch of nutmeg to the glaze for a seasonal upgrade.
