🛒 Ingredients

IngredientAmount
Crescent roll dough2 cans
Deli ham12 slices (about ¾ lb)
Pepper jack cheese16 slices (see notes below)
Dijon mustard2–3 tablespoons
Butter3 tablespoons
Garlic (minced)1 clove
Parsley (fresh or dried)2 tsp fresh or 1 tsp dried

👨‍🍳 Directions

1. Preheat & Prep
Set oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.

2. Bake the Bottom Layer
Unroll one can of crescent dough and press it flat onto the baking sheet. Bake for 7–8 minutes until just golden.

3. Add the Filling
Remove the base from the oven and spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard over it.
Lay down half of the cheese slices, followed by folded slices of deli ham, then top with the remaining cheese.

4. Add the Top Crust
Roll out the second can of crescent dough and carefully place it over the layered filling, pressing gently to seal.

5. Prepare the Garlic Butter
Melt butter in a small bowl and stir in the minced garlic and parsley. Brush generously over the top layer of dough.

6. Bake Until Golden
Return the pan to the oven and bake for 20–25 minutes, until the top is deeply golden and the cheese is bubbly.

7. Cool & Slice
Let cool for 5 minutes, then cut into squares. Serve warm and enjoy every cheesy, flaky bite!

🔁 Tips & Variations

  • Cheese Swaps: Pepper jack brings a bit of heat, but you can use cheddar, Swiss, or mozzarella depending on your preference.
  • Make Ahead: Assemble everything in advance and refrigerate until it’s time to bake.
  • Storing Leftovers: Store cooled slices in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven or toaster oven to keep them crisp.
