Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and keep it ready.
  2. Mix the Meatloaf Base:
    In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, crumbled bacon, cheddar cheese, bread crumbs, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, onion, garlic, eggs, salt, and pepper. Stir until the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  3. Shape the Loaf:
    Spoon the mixture into your prepared loaf pan. Gently press and shape it to form a uniform loaf.
  4. Prepare the Glaze:
    In a separate small bowl, whisk together the ketchup, mustard, and brown sugar until smooth.
  5. Apply the Topping:
    Spread the glaze evenly across the top of the meatloaf, covering it completely.
  6. Bake the Meatloaf:
    Place the pan in the oven and bake for 60–75 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) and the top is caramelized.
  7. Rest and Slice:
    Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing. This helps retain its juices.
