Instructions
- Preheat the Oven:
Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and keep it ready. - Mix the Meatloaf Base:
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, crumbled bacon, cheddar cheese, bread crumbs, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, onion, garlic, eggs, salt, and pepper. Stir until the ingredients are evenly incorporated. - Shape the Loaf:
Spoon the mixture into your prepared loaf pan. Gently press and shape it to form a uniform loaf. - Prepare the Glaze:
In a separate small bowl, whisk together the ketchup, mustard, and brown sugar until smooth. - Apply the Topping:
Spread the glaze evenly across the top of the meatloaf, covering it completely. - Bake the Meatloaf:
Place the pan in the oven and bake for 60–75 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) and the top is caramelized. - Rest and Slice:
Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing. This helps retain its juices.
