This simple compound butter is packed with bright Italian flavors from sun-dried tomatoes, basil, and garlic, perfect for spreading on bread or using in cooking.
Ingredients:

Instructions:
- Place the softened unsalted butter in a large bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer. Beat the butter until it becomes light and fluffy.
- Add the drained and finely chopped sun-dried tomatoes, finely chopped fresh basil, and minced garlic to the bowl with the butter.
- Beat all the ingredients together until they are thoroughly combined and evenly distributed throughout the butter.
- Sprinkle in the salt, adding it a little at a time and tasting as you go, to reach your desired level of seasoning. You may need to add slightly more or less than 1/4 teaspoon depending on your preference.
- Transfer the prepared Italian compound butter to a mason jar or another airtight serving container.
