Looking for a simple, hearty dish that satisfies any time of day? This savory casserole made with just three ingredients is a guaranteed hit. It pairs flaky crescent rolls with creamy sausage filling for a comforting, no-fuss meal perfect for breakfast, brunch, or even dinner.
| Ingredient | Amount |
|---|---|
| Refrigerated crescent roll dough | 2 cans (8 oz each) |
| Pork sausage crumbles | 20 ounces |
| Cream cheese | 8 ounces |
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage, breaking it into small pieces. Cook until browned and no longer pink. Drain off any extra grease.
Lower the heat and add the cream cheese to the cooked sausage. Stir continuously until melted and thoroughly mixed, forming a creamy sausage filling. Set aside.
Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the dish, pinching seams to seal.
Spread the sausage-cream cheese mixture evenly on top.
Unroll the second can of dough and lay it over the filling to form the top crust, sealing any seams as needed.
Place the dish in the oven and bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the top is puffed and golden brown.
Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing into squares and serving warm.
