| Refrigerated French bread dough | 1 tube (11 oz) |

| Large egg, beaten | 1 |
| Sesame seeds | 1 tbsp |

Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Oven
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Step 2: Cook the Beef
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with the diced onion until browned. Season with salt and pepper, then drain off excess grease.
Step 3: Roll the Dough
On a lightly floured surface, roll the French bread dough into a rectangle about 12×18 inches.
Step 4: Spread the Sauces
Evenly spread the ketchup and mustard over the dough, leaving about a ½-inch border around the edges.
Step 5: Add the Fillings
Scatter the cooked beef mixture over the sauces. Top with the crumbled bacon and chopped pickles.
Step 6: Add Cheese
Arrange the American cheese slices evenly over the filling.
Step 7: Roll & Seal
Starting from one long side, roll the dough tightly into a log. Pinch the edges to seal and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
Step 8: Brush & Bake
Brush the top with the beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown.
Step 9: Cool & Serve
Let the bread rest for about 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm with Thousand Island dressing on the side for dipping.
