“My mom swears by pouring a little pickle juice into her dressing. That’s the only thing I changed!”

This Sweet Amish Macaroni Salad is a classic side dish known for its creamy, tangy, and slightly sweet dressing. It combines tender elbow macaroni with hard-boiled eggs, crisp vegetables, and a distinctive dressing made with Miracle Whip, mustard, and a touch of sugar. This salad is a perfect addition to potlucks, picnics, and barbecues.

  3. In a separate small bowl, stir together the Miracle Whip salad dressing, yellow mustard, white vinegar, white sugar, and celery seed until well combined and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Pour the dressing mixture over the vegetables and hard-boiled eggs in the large bowl.
  5. Add the cooked and cooled macaroni to the bowl with the dressing and vegetables.
  6. Gently stir everything together until the macaroni and vegetables are evenly coated with the dressing.
