“Oh my gosh…this recipe is the amazing! If you do not want to spend time on making the traditional way then this recipe is for you!”

These Caramel Chocolate Crunch Bars are a delightful combination of a buttery, crumbly crust, gooey caramel, rich chocolate chunks, and a final layer of melted chocolate chips. The optional nuts add an extra layer of texture and flavor. They are easy to make and perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth.

Ingredients:

IngredientQuantity
All-Purpose Flour2 cups
Brown Sugar1/2 cup
Unsalted Butter (melted)1 cup (2 sticks)
Caramel Sauce1 cup
Chocolate Chunks1 cup
Chopped Nuts (optional)1/2 cup
Chocolate Chips1/2 cup

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare baking dish: Grease a baking dish (e.g., 9×13 inch) with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper for easier removal.
  3. Make the crust: In a medium bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, brown sugar, and melted butter until the mixture is well combined and resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Press the crust: Press the flour mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form a firm crust.
  5. Bake the crust: Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until it is lightly golden brown around the edges.
  6. Add caramel: Remove the baking dish from the oven and immediately pour the caramel sauce evenly over the hot baked crust.
  7. Sprinkle with chocolate and nuts: Sprinkle the chocolate chunks evenly over the caramel layer. If using, sprinkle the chopped nuts evenly over the chocolate.
  8. Bake again: Return the baking dish to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the caramel is bubbly around the edges and the chocolate chunks are melted.
  9. Melt chocolate chips: Remove the bars from the oven and sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over the hot top. Let the chocolate chips sit for a minute or two to soften and melt slightly.
  10. Spread melted chocolate (optional): If desired, use a spatula to gently spread the melted chocolate chips into an even layer over the top of the bars.
  11. Cool completely: Allow the Caramel Chocolate Crunch Bars to cool completely at room temperature before cutting them into squares or rectangles. This will allow the caramel and chocolate to set and prevent them from being too messy.
  12. Cut and serve: Once fully cooled and set, cut the bars into your desired size and serve. Enjoy this crunchy, chewy, and chocolatey treat!
