🍕 What You’ll Need

IngredientAmount & Notes
Olive oil3 tablespoons
Rib-eye steak8 oz, thinly sliced
Kosher salt1 teaspoon
Black pepperœ teaspoon
Worcestershire sauce3 tablespoons
Green bell pepper1, chopped
Small onion1, thinly sliced
Garlic2 cloves, minced
French bread loaf1, sliced in half lengthwise
Mayonnaise⅓ cup
Provolone cheese16 slices

đŸ”Ș How to Make It

1. Slice the Steak
Place rib-eye on a cutting board and thinly slice. (Tip: Chill in the freezer for 45–60 minutes to make slicing easier.)

2. Cook the Steak
Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak, season with salt and pepper, and cook 3–4 minutes, flipping halfway. Stir in Worcestershire sauce. Remove from heat and set aside.

3. Sauté Veggies
Lower heat to medium. Add remaining tablespoon of oil, then sauté bell pepper and onion until tender, about 3 minutes. Stir in garlic and cook another minute.

4. Assemble the Bread
Place French bread halves cut-side up on a large surface. Spread each half with mayonnaise. Top with 4 provolone slices each.

5. Add Toppings
Layer sautéed vegetables and steak over the cheese. Pour over any pan juices. Finish with remaining cheese slices on top.

6. Bake to Perfection
Transfer to a baking sheet and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10–15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbling. Slice into portions and serve warm.
