This Magic Baked Shrimp in Lemon Butter Sauce is an incredibly flavorful and easy dish that comes together quickly. Tender shrimp are baked in a luscious lemon-butter and white wine sauce, topped with a crispy panko-Parmesan crust. It’s a perfect appetizer or light main course.

  2. Prepare the sauce base: Combine the white wine (or chicken broth) and half of the melted butter (2.5 tablespoons) in a casserole dish. Bake for 10 minutes to allow the liquid to reduce slightly.
  3. Toss the shrimp: In a separate bowl, toss the shrimp with the remaining melted butter (2.5 tablespoons), minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  4. Arrange shrimp in dish: Spread the seasoned shrimp evenly in the casserole dish with the sauce.
  5. Prepare the topping: In another bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, and salt. Drizzle with olive oil and toss to combine.
  6. Add the topping: Sprinkle the panko mixture evenly over the shrimp and sauce in the casserole dish.
  7. Bake: Bake for 12 minutes.
  8. Broil (optional): For extra browning on top, switch your oven to broil on high for 1-2 minutes after baking, watching closely to prevent burning.
