This was my go-to meal back in the day. I couldn’t get enough of it and kept asking my mom to whip it up.

Garlic Steak and Potatoes
Ingredients:
| Ingredient | Quantity |
|---|---|
| Sirloin steak (1″ cubes) | 1.5 pounds |
| Baby potatoes, halved | 1.5 pounds |
| Olive oil | 3 tablespoons |
| Garlic, minced | 4 cloves |
| Dried thyme | 1 teaspoon |
| Dried rosemary | 1 teaspoon |
| Salt and pepper | To taste |
| Fresh parsley, chopped | 2 tablespoons |
Instructions:
Step 1: Prep Ingredients & Preheat Oven
Set your oven to 400°F (200°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine the steak cubes, halved potatoes, olive oil, minced garlic, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together until well coated.
Step 2: Assemble the Foil Packets
Cut four sheets of aluminum foil, each about 12×12 inches. Evenly divide the steak and potato mixture among the sheets, placing the food in the center. Fold the foil over the mixture and crimp the edges tightly to create sealed packets.
Step 3: Bake
Place the foil packets on a baking tray and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the potatoes are fork-tender and the steak is cooked to your liking.
Step 4: Garnish & Serve
Carefully open the foil packets (watch out for hot steam), then sprinkle fresh chopped parsley over the top. Serve hot straight from the packet or plate it up for a rustic presentation.
