2 tbspChopped fresh parsley

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet, cooking until the onion turns translucent.
  4. Season the beef mixture with salt, pepper, and paprika. Stir well and set aside.
  5. In a separate saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Mix in the milk and sour cream until smooth.
  6. In a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes.
  7. Spread the beef mixture evenly over the potatoes, then add the remaining potato slices on top.
  8. Pour the creamy sour cream mixture over the layered potatoes and beef.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  10. Remove the foil, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top, and bake for 15 more minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  11. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
