Turkey Stuffing Meatloaf
This hearty dish brings together the savory depth of traditional meatloaf with the aromatic herbs and texture of stuffing. Moist, flavorful, and comforting, it’s a satisfying one-dish dinner that’s easy to make and sure to please the whole table.
Ingredients:
| Ingredient | Quantity |
|---|---|
| Ground turkey | 1 lb |
| Stuffing mix | 1 cup |
| Chicken broth | 1/2 cup |
| Egg | 1 |
| Small onion, chopped | 1 |
| Celery, chopped | 1/2 cup |
| Salt | 1/2 teaspoon |
| Black pepper | 1/4 teaspoon |
| Dried sage | 1/2 teaspoon |
| Garlic powder | 1/4 teaspoon |
| Ketchup | 1/4 cup |
Instructions:
- Preheat & Prep:
Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, stir the stuffing mix and chicken broth together. Let it soak for a few minutes so the mixture softens. - Mix the Meatloaf:
To the bowl, add the ground turkey, egg, chopped onion and celery, along with the seasonings—salt, pepper, sage, and garlic powder. Combine all ingredients gently with clean hands or a spoon, mixing just enough to incorporate everything evenly. - Shape & Top:
Press the mixture into a greased loaf pan, smoothing it into an even layer. Spread ketchup over the top for a flavorful glaze. - Bake:
Place the loaf in the oven and bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until it’s cooked through and registers 165°F (74°C) internally. The loaf should be firm and the top slightly browned. - Cool & Serve:
Allow the meatloaf to rest for several minutes before slicing to help it hold its shape. Serve warm, ideally with mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables.
