16-Pound Giant Baby Made Headlines In 1983, But Wait Till You See Him Today

In the year 1983, something quite remarkable happened when Patricia Clarke welcomed her son, Kevin Robert Clark, into the world. This wasn’t just any baby; Kevin weighed in at a significant sixteen pounds! News of this large newborn quickly spread.

At the time of his birth, Kevin was recognized as the biggest baby ever born at Community Memorial Hospital. It was even thought that he might have been the largest baby born in the entire state of New Jersey during that period. Despite his considerable size at birth, little Kevin was perfectly healthy.

His unusual size made him an instant celebrity. People were fascinated by him, and he even made appearances on popular television shows like “Saturday Night Live” and “Good Morning America.” As Kevin grew older, his height continued to be a topic of interest and made headlines. By the time he was twelve years old, he had already reached an impressive height of 5 feet 7 inches. This growth spurt continued into his junior high school years, where he stood tall at 6 feet 5 inches.

Kevin developed a good sense of humor about his height. He even had a favorite joke that he would often share. He enjoyed saying, “I like to joke that I’m 5-foot-21.” He also had a witty response for those who would often ask him about playing basketball, stating, “When people ask if I play basketball, I ask them if they play miniature golf.”

Today, at the age of 40, Kevin is an even more towering figure, standing at 6 feet 9 inches. Over the years, he has become used to the attention his height naturally attracts. As he himself put it, “There isn’t a day that goes by when someone doesn’t ask me how tall I am.”

Kevin’s life has been interesting in more ways than just his height. He is a former soldier and has served his country. Currently, he shares his life with his wife, who is also tall at 6 feet, and their Great Dane. Having lived with his extraordinary height for many years, Kevin has learned how to comfortably navigate the world, taking everything in stride.
