Ingredients

IngredientQuantity
Ritz crackers48
Deli ham8 slices
Swiss cheese8 slices
Butter, melted4 tablespoons
Dijon mustard2 teaspoons
Worcestershire sauce1 teaspoon
Garlic powder½ teaspoon
Poppy seeds1 teaspoon
Dried minced onion½ teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven
Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
  2. Slice Ham & Cheese
Cut both the ham and Swiss cheese into quarters to fit neatly between the crackers. You’ll need 24 small squares of each.
  3. Build the Sandwiches
Arrange 24 Ritz crackers on the prepared tray. Top each with a piece of ham and a slice of cheese. Finish with another cracker on top to complete the mini sandwiches.
  4. Mix the Butter Glaze
In a small bowl, stir together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, poppy seeds, and minced onion until well blended.
  5. Brush with Butter Mix
Using a pastry brush, coat the tops of each sandwich with the seasoned butter mixture, making sure each one is fully covered.
  6. Bake
Transfer the tray to the oven and bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the crackers are lightly browned.
  7. Serve Warm
Let the sandwiches cool briefly before serving. Enjoy them warm for the best flavor and texture.

Tips & Variations

  • Cheese Swap: Not a fan of Swiss? Try cheddar, provolone, or your favorite melty cheese.
  • Meat Alternatives: Substitute ham with turkey, roast beef, or other deli meats to match your taste.
  • Make Ahead Option: Assemble the sandwiches ahead of time and store them in the fridge. Pop them in the oven just before your guests arrive.
