Salted Caramel Chocolate Sugar Cookie Bars Recipe

Sometimes you crave a dessert that’s rich, gooey, slightly crumbly, and totally indulgent. These Salted Caramel Chocolate Sugar Cookie Bars deliver all of that. I first discovered this flavor combination at a holiday cookie swap, and it quickly became a favorite.

With a soft sugar cookie base, pockets of melted chocolate, and a smooth caramel layer on top—finished with a touch of flaky sea salt—these bars hit the perfect sweet-and-salty balance. They’re great for sharing at gatherings, but just as perfect for enjoying at home when you want something a little extra special.

They’re delicious on their own, or even better paired with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or fresh berries. Add a cup of coffee, hot chocolate, or a glass of cold milk, and you’ve got the perfect treat.
