Easy 3-Ingredient Sausage & Cream Cheese Casserole (Sausage Squares)

Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground sausage
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 cans crescent roll dough (8 oz each)
Instructions:
1. Heat the Oven
Set oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish to prevent sticking.
2. Brown the Sausage
Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks. Once fully browned, drain off excess grease.
3. Make It Creamy
Add the softened cream cheese directly to the hot sausage. Stir until fully melted and evenly combined, then remove from heat.
4. Bottom Layer
