Ingredients:

  • 1 (16 oz) box uncooked spaghetti noodles
  • 1 lb ground meat (beef, turkey, or sausage)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 oz sliced pepperoni
  • 1 (26 oz) jar pasta sauce
  • 1 (16 oz) can diced Italian-style tomatoes
  • 1 (8 oz) package shredded Italian cheese blend
  • Optional toppings: olives, onions, green peppers, mushrooms, extra sausage, etc.

How to Make Pizza Spaghetti Casserole:

Step 1: Cook the Pasta
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook the spaghetti according to package directions, then drain and set aside.

Step 2: Cook the Meat
In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground meat until fully cooked. Add salt, oregano, and garlic powder for seasoning. Drain off any excess grease.

Step 3: Prepare the Pasta Mixture
In a bowl, whisk together the milk, Parmesan cheese, and egg. Toss the cooked spaghetti with this mixture until evenly coated.

Step 4: Assemble the Casserole
Spread the spaghetti mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Layer the cooked meat over the top, followed by the pasta sauce, diced tomatoes, and any additional toppings you like. Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over everything and finish with pepperoni slices.

Step 5: Bake
Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for another 10–15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Step 6: Serve
Allow the casserole to cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve warm.
