Pastrami Cheese Bites

These small, savory bites tend to disappear quickly once they hit the table. A neighbor first shared them at a game night years ago, and they’ve remained a favorite ever since. Thin slices of pastrami wrap around a creamy cheese filling, creating a rich, flavorful snack that becomes even better when lightly warmed. With just three ingredients and very little preparation, they’re ideal for busy days, casual gatherings, or quick appetizers.
Serve them warm or chilled with toothpicks for easy snacking. Crisp vegetables like celery, cucumber, or bell peppers make a refreshing side, while mustard or pickles add a tangy contrast. They also pair nicely with olives, mixed nuts, or a light salad.
Low Carb 3-Ingredient Pastrami Cheese Bites
Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese (or another mild melting cheese)
- 1/2 lb thinly sliced pastrami
Directions
Line a plate or small baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, combine the cream cheese and shredded Swiss cheese until smooth and evenly mixed.
Lay out the pastrami slices and cut them into smaller sections if desired.
Place 1–2 teaspoons of the cheese mixture onto each slice of pastrami.
Roll or fold the pastrami around the filling and arrange seam-side down.
For a softer, warmer texture, place them in a 300°F (150°C) oven for 5–7 minutes until heated through.
Allow them to cool slightly before serving.
These can also be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated until ready to serve.
