Ingredients
| Ingredient | Amount |
|---|---|
| Pork breakfast sausage, cooked and drained | 1 lb |
| Processed melting cheese, cubed | 1 lb |
| Diced tomatoes with green chilies, undrained | 1 can (10 oz) |
Instructions
Step 1: Brown the sausage
Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until fully browned, breaking it apart into crumbles as it cooks. Drain off any extra grease.
Step 2: Combine ingredients
Lightly coat a 2–4 quart slow cooker with cooking spray or oil. Add the cubed cheese, cooked sausage, and the full can of diced tomatoes with green chilies.
Step 3: Heat slowly
Cover and cook on LOW for 1½–2 hours or on HIGH for about 1 hour. Stir every 30 minutes so the cheese melts evenly.
Step 4: Mix until creamy
Once the cheese is completely melted, stir the dip thoroughly until smooth and fully blended.
Serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, toasted bread slices, or fresh vegetables for dipping.
