Instructions

1. Prepare the Marinade

In a medium bowl, whisk together:

  • Lime juice
  • Soy sauce
  • Olive oil
  • Garlic
  • Chili powder
  • Cumin
  • Paprika
  • Oregano
  • Salt and pepper

Place the sliced steak into a resealable bag or shallow container. Pour the marinade over the meat, making sure everything is coated evenly. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to develop flavor.

2. Cook the Steak and Vegetables

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook until browned and cooked to your preferred doneness. Transfer the steak to a plate and keep warm.

Add the remaining tablespoon of oil to the skillet. Cook the onions and bell peppers until softened and slightly caramelized. Return the steak to the pan and stir everything together for another minute.
