Thinly sliced ham | 1/2 lb |
Thinly sliced salami | 1/2 lb |
Mozzarella cheese slices | 1/2 lb |
Fresh basil, chopped | 1/2 cup |
Instructions
Make the Cream Cheese Spread:
In a small mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until completely smooth and evenly mixed.
Arrange the Tortillas:
Place two tortillas on a large flat surface, overlapping them slightly to form a wide rolling base.
Spread the Mixture:
Evenly coat the tortillas with half of the cream cheese spread, leaving a narrow border around the edges to prevent overflow.
Add Layers of Filling:
Lay the ham slices over the spread, followed by the salami and mozzarella slices in an even layer.
Top with Veggies and Herbs:
Scatter the roasted red peppers, pepperoncinis, and chopped basil over the bottom two-thirds of the tortilla layout to help the roll stay tight and flavorful.
Roll and Slice:
Starting from the bottom edge, roll the tortillas up snugly. If needed, use toothpicks to keep them secure. Slice the roll into pinwheels about 1 to 1.5 inches thick.
Repeat:
Repeat the same process with the remaining ingredients and tortillas.
