Grandma’s Chicken & Rice Casserole

This timeless Chicken & Rice Casserole is pure comfort in every bite. With tender chicken, fluffy rice, and a rich, creamy blend of soups, it’s a no-fuss, flavorful meal that’s perfect for weeknight dinners or hearty family gatherings.


Ingredients

Cream of chicken soup1 (10.5 oz) can
Cream of celery soup1 (10.5 oz) can
Cream of mushroom soup1 (10.5 oz) can

Salt½ teaspoon
Black pepper½ teaspoon
Butter, sliced½ cup

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat Oven & Prepare Dish
Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish to prevent sticking.

2️⃣ Mix Casserole Base
In the prepared dish, combine the cooked chicken, instant rice, water, all three soups, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir thoroughly until everything is evenly mixed.

3️⃣ Add Butter & Cover
Distribute the butter slices evenly over the surface of the mixture. Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil to trap in moisture while baking.

4️⃣ Bake & Finish
Place the dish in the oven and bake for 45 minutes. After that, remove the foil and bake uncovered for an additional 15–20 minutes, or until the rice is soft, the casserole is bubbling, and the top is lightly browned.
