I’ve never cooked sausages this way before, but it’s truly transformative!

Oven-Baked Honey Garlic Glazed Sausages

These oven-baked Honey Garlic Sausages are an easy and delicious choice for a satisfying weeknight meal. Juicy sausages bake in a rich blend of sweet honey, savory soy sauce, and fragrant garlic, creating a glossy glaze that becomes beautifully caramelized in the oven. Sliced onions cook alongside the sausages, soaking up the flavorful sauce and adding a touch of natural sweetness to every bite.

Ingredients

  • 8 pork or beef sausages
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the oven.

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare a baking dish large enough to hold all 8 sausages in a single layer.

Step 2: Arrange the sausages.

Place the sausages in the prepared baking dish, spacing them evenly so they cook and brown more uniformly.

Step 3: Make the honey garlic glaze.

In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, and black pepper until thoroughly combined into a smooth, flavorful sauce.

Step 4: Add the glaze and onions.

Pour the honey garlic mixture over the sausages, turning them with tongs to coat each one well. Distribute the sliced onion around and between the sausages so it can soften and absorb the delicious glaze as it bakes.

Step 5: Bake until golden.

Transfer the dish to the preheated oven and bake for 25–30 minutes, turning the sausages halfway through cooking. Continue baking until the sausages are cooked through and nicely browned, with the glaze bubbling and beginning to caramelize. Cooking time may vary depending on the size and type of sausages; check that they reach a safe internal temperature.

Step 6: Rest and garnish.

Remove the dish from the oven and let the sausages rest for a few minutes. The glaze will thicken slightly as it cools. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley, if desired, and spoon the sticky honey garlic sauce and softened onions over the sausages before serving.
