After a single bite, my friend ran to me wanting to know how I made it.

Baked Chicken Stuffed Crescent Rolls

These cheesy chicken-stuffed crescent rolls are a delicious combination of creamy filling and buttery, flaky pastry. Shredded chicken, cream cheese, sharp cheddar, and fresh green onions come together with savory seasonings to create golden, bite-sized bundles perfect for an easy dinner, a quick lunch, or a warm party appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup softened cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven.
Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.

2. Prepare the filling.
In a medium bowl, mix the shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and green onions. Add the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper, stirring until everything is evenly combined.

3. Separate the crescent dough.
Unroll the crescent dough and carefully separate it into individual triangles along the perforated lines.

4. Fill the triangles.
Place a generous tablespoon of the chicken mixture near the wide end of each triangle. Avoid overfilling so the rolls can be sealed properly.

5. Shape the rolls.
Starting at the wide end, roll each triangle toward the pointed tip. Gently tuck in the edges if needed to keep the filling inside, then arrange the rolls on the prepared baking sheet with space between them.

6. Bake until golden.
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crescent dough is puffed, crisp, and golden brown. Make sure the filling is thoroughly heated.

7. Cool and serve.
Remove the rolls from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy them warm while the cheese is creamy and the pastry is wonderfully flaky.

Serve these savory chicken crescent rolls on their own or pair them with a fresh green salad, a bowl of soup, or your favorite dipping sauce for a satisfying meal.
