Ingredients for Reuben Crescent Bake

  • Crescent roll dough – 2 tubes
  • Corned beef slices – 1 lb
  • Swiss cheese slices – 8 oz
  • Sauerkraut – 1 cup
  • Thousand Island dressing – 1/2 cup
  • Egg (for egg wash) – 1
  • Caraway seeds (optional) – 1 tsp
  • Poppy seeds (optional) – 1 tsp

How to Make It

Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) to get it ready for baking.

Unroll Dough: Carefully unroll both tubes of crescent roll dough onto a clean surface. You’ll have about eight triangles per tube.

Add Fillings: On each triangle, place a slice of corned beef, followed by a slice of Swiss cheese. Spoon some sauerkraut on top, then drizzle with Thousand Island dressing. If you like, sprinkle some caraway seeds for extra flavor.

Roll Crescents: Starting at the wide end, roll up each triangle tightly, tucking in any loose dough to keep the filling inside.

Egg Wash: Beat the egg in a small bowl and brush it over the tops of the rolled crescents for a shiny, golden finish.

Add Poppy Seeds (Optional): Sprinkle poppy seeds over the crescents for a nice crunch and a pretty look.

Arrange on Baking Sheet: Place the crescents on a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving a bit of space between each one to expand.

Bake: Put the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the crescents turn golden brown and are fully cooked.

Serve: Let the crescents cool slightly before serving. Enjoy the warm, melty, flavorful bites that everyone will love!
