🍽️ Instructions

  1. Lightly coat the inside of a 6-quart slow cooker with cooking spray.
  2. Spread the sliced onions evenly across the bottom.
  3. Pat the pork shoulder dry using paper towels.
  4. Mix together the seasoning blend and salt, then rub it thoroughly over the pork.
  5. Place the seasoned roast on top of the onions.
  6. Carefully pour chicken broth around the meat (avoid pouring directly on top to preserve the seasoning).
  7. Cover and cook:
    • On HIGH for 6 to 7 hours
    • On LOW for 9 to 10 hours
  8. Check for doneness—the pork should easily pull apart with a fork.
  9. Transfer the roast to a plate and let it rest for about 10 minutes.
  10. Shred the meat, removing any large pieces of fat.

💡 Tip: For a full meal in one pot, add baby potatoes and carrots a few hours before the pork is done. Fresh herbs and garlic can also be added for extra flavor. 🌿
