Creamy Garlic Pasta

Ingredients:

How To Make Creamy Garlic Pasta

Step 1: Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until al dente according to package instructions. Drain, reserving about 1/2 cup of the pasta water.

Step 2: Sauté the Garlic
In a wide skillet, melt butter with olive oil over medium heat. Add the smashed garlic cloves and cook for 3–4 minutes until golden and fragrant, stirring occasionally. Avoid burning.

Step 3: Add the Cream
Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream. Stir gently, allowing it to warm through for 2–3 minutes.

Step 4: Incorporate Parmesan and Season
Stir in the grated Parmesan until fully melted and smooth. Season with black pepper and salt. Thin the sauce with reserved pasta water if it becomes too thick.

Step 5: Toss Pasta in Sauce
Add the drained pasta to the skillet, tossing until every strand is coated in the creamy sauce. Adjust consistency with more pasta water if needed.

Step 6: Serve
Plate immediately, topping with chopped parsley or basil, and a pinch of red pepper flakes if desired. Serve hot for a rich, flavorful meal.
