Caramel Cream Cheese Bread

🧾 Ingredients:

IngredientQuantity
All-purpose flour2 cups
Granulated sugar1 ½ cups
Unsalted butter (softened)1 cup (2 sticks)
Cream cheese (softened)8 oz (1 package)
Eggs4
Caramel topping½ cup
Vanilla extract1 ½ teaspoons
Ground cinnamon1 ½ teaspoons
Baking soda1 ½ teaspoons
Salt½ teaspoon

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

Step 1: Preheat & Prepare Pans

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease two 9×5-inch loaf pans and set aside.

Step 2: Cream Butter, Cream Cheese & Sugar

In a large mixing bowl, beat together the butter, cream cheese, and sugar until smooth and fluffy. Add in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

Step 3: Mix Dry Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.

Step 4: Combine Wet & Dry

Gradually incorporate the dry mixture into the wet ingredients. Mix just until everything is combined—avoid overmixing to keep the bread tender.

Step 5: Layer & Swirl with Caramel

Divide ¼ of the batter between the two prepared pans. Drizzle ¼ cup of caramel topping over the batter in each pan and gently swirl with a knife. Add the remaining batter evenly on top.

Step 6: Bake

Place the pans in the preheated oven and bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Step 7: Cool & Serve

Let the loaves cool in the pans for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Allow them to cool completely before slicing. Serve and savor every bite!

🍰 Tips & Serving Ideas:

  • Warm it up slightly before serving for an extra gooey caramel experience.
  • Top with more caramel or a light glaze for added sweetness.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for up to a week.
  • Freeze one loaf for later—wrap tightly in plastic wrap and foil for best results.
