1. Make the Dough:

2. Roll and Fill:
Lightly flour your surface and roll out the dough very thin. Use a small saucer or cutter to shape into circles. Spread each with softened butter and generously sprinkle with sugar. Roll each piece up tightly like a mini log.

3. Bake the Rolls:
Place the rolls snugly in a greased baking dish. Bake at 400°F (200°C) until lightly golden, about 15–20 minutes.

4. Prepare the Vanilla Milk Sauce:
While the rolls are baking, heat the milk in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir in sugar to taste and add vanilla. Heat until very hot, but do not boil.

5. Pour & Finish:
Once the rolls have browned, carefully pour the hot milk mixture over them. Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 10–15 minutes.

6. Serve Warm:
