🍳 Instructions

1. Preheat & Prepare
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and set aside.

2. Cook the Meat
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the beef or steak until cooked through. Drain off any excess fat.

3. Sauté the Vegetables
Add the onion, bell peppers, mushrooms, and garlic to the same pan. Cook for 5–6 minutes, until tender and fragrant. Season with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and Worcestershire sauce.

4. Layer the Filling
Spread the beef and vegetable mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.

5. Make the Creamy Mixture
In a bowl, whisk together the cream cheese, mayonnaise, and eggs until smooth and well blended.

6. Assemble the Casserole
Pour the creamy mixture evenly over the beef and vegetables. Sprinkle the provolone and mozzarella cheeses over the top.

7. Bake
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the top is golden, bubbly, and beautifully melted.

8. Rest & Serve
Allow the casserole to rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve on its own, or enjoy with a crisp salad, crusty bread, or toasted hoagie rolls for the full Philly experience.
