Rotel Cream Cheese Sausage Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage (mild or spicy)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can (10 oz) Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 ½ cups Bisquick or self-rising flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder (optional)
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sausage, softened cream cheese, drained Rotel, cheddar cheese, Bisquick, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix well until fully blended.
  3. Scoop and roll the mixture into balls about 1 to 1½ inches in diameter. Place them evenly spaced on the baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the sausage balls are cooked through and golden brown on the outside.
  5. Serve warm, with a dipping sauce of your choice if desired.
