Rotel Cream Cheese Sausage Balls
Ingredients
- 1 lb breakfast sausage (mild or spicy)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 can (10 oz) Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 ½ cups Bisquick or self-rising flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- ½ teaspoon onion powder (optional)
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the sausage, softened cream cheese, drained Rotel, cheddar cheese, Bisquick, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix well until fully blended.
- Scoop and roll the mixture into balls about 1 to 1½ inches in diameter. Place them evenly spaced on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the sausage balls are cooked through and golden brown on the outside.
- Serve warm, with a dipping sauce of your choice if desired.
