Stuffed French Dip Biscuits
These golden, buttery stuffed biscuits put a twist on the traditional French dip sandwich, turning it into a handheld favorite perfect for parties, game day, or an easy dinner. Flaky biscuit dough wraps around layers of tender roast beef and gooey provolone, baked until golden and served with warm savory broth for dunking.


Ingredients:

For the Biscuits

For the Butter Glaze & Dip

Worcestershire sauce1 tablespoon
Garlic powder1 teaspoon
Onion powder1 teaspoon
Dried thyme1/2 teaspoon
Dried rosemary1/2 teaspoon
Salt1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper1/2 teaspoon
Beef broth1 cup

Instructions:

  1. Preheat and Prepare:
    Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a baking dish. Flatten each biscuit slightly using your hands or a rolling pin.
  2. Add Filling:
    Lay one slice of roast beef and one slice of provolone cheese on each flattened biscuit round.
  3. Form Biscuits:
    Fold the dough up and around the filling, pinching the seams tightly closed. Place seam-side down in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Mix and Brush:
    Stir together the melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Brush generously over each biscuit.
  5. Bake:
    Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the biscuits are puffed and deeply golden.
  6. Warm the Dip:
    While biscuits are baking, heat beef broth over medium heat in a small pot until warmed through.
  7. Serve:
    Serve the warm biscuits with small bowls of beef broth for dipping on the side.
