Cheeseburger Pockets Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions:

Step 1: Preheat the Oven
Set your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2: Cook the Beef and Onion
Warm the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté for 3–4 minutes until tender. Stir in the ground beef, breaking it apart, and cook for 6–8 minutes until browned. Drain any excess fat.

Step 3: Add Flavor
Mix in the ketchup, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper, then cook for another 2–3 minutes. Remove from heat and allow it to cool slightly.

Step 4: Prepare the Dough
Roll out the crescent dough and separate it into 8 individual triangles.

Step 5: Fill and Seal
Spoon some of the beef mixture onto the wider end of each triangle. Top with shredded cheddar, then fold the dough over and press the edges to seal.

Step 6: Bake
Place the filled pockets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden brown.

Step 7: Cool and Serve
Let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
