Step 1: Prepare the Hard-Boiled Eggs

Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, cover the pan, remove it from the heat, and allow the eggs to sit for 12 minutes.

Step 2: Cool and Peel the Eggs

Prepare a bowl of ice water. Transfer the cooked eggs into the ice bath and let them cool for about 5 minutes.
