My husband always requests this on warm summer evenings and it only takes 4 ingredients to whip up a quick dinner.

These Oven-Baked 4-Ingredient Beef Crescent Puffs are an easy, savory snack made with seasoned ground beef, melted cheddar cheese, and flaky crescent roll dough.
They’re simple to assemble, bake quickly, and come out golden and crisp on the outside with a warm, cheesy beef filling inside. They’re perfect for family dinners, game days, parties, or quick weekend snacks.
Oven-Baked 4-Ingredient Beef Crescent Puffs
Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning or savory seasoning blend, about 1 ounce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough, 8 ounces each
Directions
1. Preheat the oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly coat it with cooking spray or a small amount of oil.
2. Cook and season the beef
Add the ground beef to a medium skillet over medium heat.
Cook for about 6 to 8 minutes, breaking it apart as it browns.
Drain off any excess grease.
Stir in the taco seasoning along with 2 to 3 tablespoons of water.
Cook for another 1 to 2 minutes, stirring until the seasoning coats the beef and most of the liquid has been absorbed.
Remove from the heat and let the mixture cool for about 5 to 10 minutes.
3. Add the cheese
Stir the shredded cheddar cheese into the warm beef mixture.
Mix until the cheese is evenly distributed and begins to melt slightly.
4. Assemble the crescent puffs
Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.
For smaller appetizer-size puffs, you can cut the triangles into smaller pieces.
Spoon some of the beef and cheese mixture onto the wide end of each piece of dough.
Fold or roll the dough around the filling, then pinch the seams together so the filling is enclosed.
5. Bake
Arrange the puffs seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 11 to 15 minutes, or until the crescent dough is fully cooked and golden brown.
Rotate the baking sheet halfway through if your oven browns unevenly.
6. Rest and serve
Let the crescent puffs rest on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before serving.
Serve warm while the outside is crisp and flaky and the beef-and-cheese filling is still hot and melty.
