Only 3 ingredients and my sister-in-law still gets asked to bring these to every single party she goes to..

Oven-Baked 3-Ingredient Crescent Brie Bites
These Oven-Baked Crescent Brie Bites are a simple yet elegant appetizer made with flaky crescent dough, creamy Brie cheese, and sweet fruit preserves. Each bite combines buttery pastry with melted cheese and a touch of fruity sweetness, making it perfect for holiday gatherings, parties, or casual entertaining. With just three ingredients and minimal preparation, this recipe delivers delicious results without the hassle of making pastry from scratch.
Ingredients
- 2 tubes refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 oz each)
- 8 oz Brie cheese, chilled
- 1/2 cup fruit jam or preserves (raspberry, apricot, or strawberry)
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9 × 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or a little oil to help prevent the pastry from sticking.
Step 2: Prepare the Brie
Place the Brie in the freezer for about 10 minutes to make it easier to cut. Keep the rind on and slice the cheese into 24 small cubes, approximately 1/2 to 3/4 inch in size.
Tip: The Brie rind is edible, so there is no need to remove it. It also helps the cheese hold its shape as it melts.
Step 3: Cut the Crescent Dough
Unroll both tubes of crescent dough onto a clean work surface. Press the perforated seams together to create solid sheets. Cut each sheet into 12 equal squares, making 24 squares in total.
Step 4: Add the Filling
Place one dough square into the prepared baking dish. Add one cube of Brie to the center, followed by approximately 1 teaspoon of fruit preserves.
Tip: Avoid adding too much jam, as excess filling may spill out during baking and burn on the bottom of the dish.
Step 5: Shape the Bites
Bring the corners of each dough square together over the filling and pinch the edges to seal. Arrange the bites close together in the baking dish, leaving just a little room for the pastry to expand.
Step 6: Bake Until Golden
Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the crescent dough is puffed and golden brown and the cheese is melted. Check near the end of the baking time to prevent overbrowning.
Step 7: Cool and Serve
Remove the dish from the oven and let the bites rest for 5–10 minutes before serving. This allows the melted cheese to settle slightly and makes the bites easier to handle.
Serve warm for the best combination of flaky pastry, creamy Brie, and sweet fruit filling.
