Pork Chips Supreme

Pork Chops Supreme is a warm, satisfying classic that combines juicy pork chops, tender potatoes, and a creamy, onion-infused sauce. It’s easy to put together, packed with comforting flavors, and ideal for both busy weeknights and relaxed family dinners.
Ingredients
| Ingredient | Quantity |
|---|---|
| Boneless pork chops | 6 |
| Olive oil | 2 tablespoons |
| Russet potatoes (thinly sliced) | 5 |
| Onion soup mix | 1 packet |
| Condensed cream of onion soup | 1 can |
| Milk | 1/2 cup |
| Salt | To taste |
| Pepper | To taste |
Instructions
1. Heat the oil
Place a skillet over medium-high heat and warm the olive oil.
2. Sear the pork chops
Cook the pork chops on both sides until they develop a golden-brown crust. This step enhances the overall flavor.
3. Get the baking dish ready
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
4. Add the potatoes
Arrange the sliced potatoes in an even layer across the bottom of the dish.
5. Make the sauce
In a bowl, mix together the onion soup mix, cream of onion soup, and milk until smooth.
6. Assemble and bake
Lay the browned pork chops over the potatoes, then pour the sauce evenly across the top. Bake for about 1 hour, or until the potatoes are soft and fully cooked.
Tip: If the potatoes need more time, cover the dish with foil and continue baking for an additional 10 minutes.
Serving suggestion
Serve hot, seasoned with a little salt and pepper if desired. It pairs nicely with steamed vegetables or a crisp salad.
