Creamy Chicken Lasagna Recipe

Instructions
Prepare the Cream Sauce
- Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, then cook until softened.
- Sprinkle in the flour and cook for 2 minutes, stirring regularly.
- Slowly whisk in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Continue cooking until the sauce thickens.
- Stir in the fresh spinach, then remove the saucepan from the heat.
Cook the Lasagna Noodles
Prepare the lasagna noodles according to the directions on the package. Once cooked, drain them thoroughly.
Make the Ricotta Filling
In a bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, egg, grated Parmesan, and Italian seasoning until well combined.
Assemble the Lasagna
- Spread some of the cream sauce across the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Arrange 4 lasagna noodles over the sauce.
- Add half of the ricotta mixture, followed by half of the cooked chicken and one-third of the mozzarella.
- Repeat the layers.
- Finish with the remaining noodles, cream sauce, and mozzarella.
Bake the Lasagna
Cover the baking dish and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25 minutes.
Remove the cover and continue baking for another 20–25 minutes, or until the lasagna is hot, bubbling, and golden on top.
Serve
Allow the lasagna to cool slightly before serving. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley, slice into portions, and enjoy.
