“I’ve been putting this on everything since making it. My summer obsession!”

Peaches & Cream Spread
This creamy peach spread is a simple way to add bright fruit flavor to breakfast and brunch. Softened cream cheese and butter create a rich, smooth base, while finely chopped fresh peaches provide juicy sweetness and a touch of natural texture. Powdered sugar adds just enough sweetness, with a small amount of salt to balance the flavors.
It’s delicious on toast, bagels, biscuits, pancakes, waffles, and other favorite breakfast treats.
Ingredients
| Ingredient | Amount |
|---|---|
| Cream cheese, softened | 8 oz |
| Unsalted butter, softened | ½ cup |
| Fresh peaches, peeled and finely diced | 1 cup |
| Powdered sugar | 2 tablespoons |
| Salt | ½ teaspoon |
Directions
Step 1: Whip the Cream Cheese and Butter
Add the softened cream cheese and butter to a mixing bowl. Beat with an electric mixer on medium-high speed for 2–3 minutes, until the mixture is smooth, creamy, and fluffy.
Step 2: Fold in the Peaches
Add the diced peaches, powdered sugar, and salt. Mix on low speed just until combined, or gently fold everything together with a spatula to keep the peach pieces intact.
Step 3: Refrigerate
Spoon the mixture into a covered container and refrigerate for at least 1–2 hours. For even more developed flavor and a firmer texture, chill it overnight.
Helpful Tip: Chilling gives the butter and cream cheese time to firm up while allowing the peach flavor to blend throughout the spread.
Step 4: Serve
Remove the spread from the refrigerator and let it sit briefly if it feels too firm. Spread it over toast, bagels, English muffins, biscuits, pancakes, waffles, or other baked goods.
Serving Suggestions
- Spoon onto warm cinnamon-raisin or sourdough toast.
