My brother begs me to make these every weekend because they are so tender and take 3 ingredients

These slow cooker 3-ingredient BBQ country-style ribs are a simple way to turn an everyday cut of pork into a tender, flavorful dish. Cooking them low and slow allows the meat to become soft and juicy while absorbing a rich, sweet, and smoky sauce. A quick broil at the end adds a caramelized, slightly sticky finish that gives them that classic BBQ-style taste.
Slow Cooker 3-Ingredient BBQ Country Style Ribs
Ingredients:
- 4–5 lbs country-style pork ribs (bone-in)
- 1 bottle (18–20 oz) thick barbecue sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare the Sauce
Lightly grease the slow cooker. In a bowl, stir together the barbecue sauce and brown sugar until fully combined.
Tip: Remove any large excess fat from the ribs to prevent the sauce from becoming overly greasy.
Step 2: Coat the Ribs
Spread a thin layer of the sauce mixture on the bottom of the slow cooker. Arrange the ribs in a single layer if possible, then pour the remaining sauce over them. Turn the ribs to coat evenly.
Step 3: Slow Cook
Cover and cook on LOW for 7–8 hours or HIGH for 3½–4 hours, until the meat is very tender and easily pulls apart with a fork.
Step 4: Broil for Finish
Preheat the broiler. Move the ribs to a foil-lined baking sheet and brush them with sauce from the slow cooker. Broil for 3–5 minutes, until the edges begin to caramelize.
Tip: Broiling helps create a thicker, slightly crisp coating on the outside.
Step 5: Rest and Serve
Allow the ribs to rest for about 5 minutes before serving so the juices redistribute and the sauce sets.
These ribs come out tender, sweet, and sticky—an easy dish that still feels like a special treat.
