My uncle showed me this trick for busy weeknights. Just 3 ingredients to build the most amazing flavor. Wrap them up and let the cooker do all the heavy lifting.

Slow Cooker Cajun Butter Steak Packets
Ingredients
- 2 pounds beef steak (sirloin, flank, or round), sliced into ½-inch strips
- 3 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Prepare the foil: Cut four large sheets of heavy-duty aluminum foil, each about 12–14 inches long.
- Season the steak: Pat the steak strips dry with paper towels. Place them in a large bowl and toss with the Cajun seasoning until evenly coated.
- Assemble the packets: Divide the seasoned steak evenly among the four foil sheets. Drizzle the melted butter over the meat.
- Seal the packets: Bring the long sides of each foil sheet together and fold them tightly. Crimp both ends to seal each packet securely.
- Slow cook: Place the packets seam-side up in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW for 4–6 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours, until the steak is tender.
- Serve: Carefully transfer the packets to plates using tongs. Open them cautiously to release the hot steam, then spoon the buttery Cajun juices over the steak.
Serve hot over rice, mashed potatoes, or alongside your favorite vegetables.
