Party classic’: Just 3 ingredients. I’ve made this so many times I don’t even measure anymore

These cherry cheesecake bars come together with just three ingredients, making them an easy no-bake dessert that’s perfect for sharing. By blending softened cream cheese with prepared cheesecake filling, you get a thicker, more stable base that pairs perfectly with a layer of sweet cherry topping. Once chilled, the texture becomes smooth and creamy, and the bars slice neatly—ideal for parties, gatherings, or an everyday treat.
3-Ingredient Cherry Cheesecake Bars (Two-Pan Family Style)
Ingredients:
- 3 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
- 3 cans (21 oz each) prepared cheesecake filling
- 2 cans (21 oz each) cherry pie filling
Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare the Base
Lightly coat two 8×8-inch or 9×9-inch glass baking dishes with grease. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until it’s completely smooth.
Tip: Ensure the cream cheese is fully at room temperature to avoid lumps in the mixture.
Step 2: Combine the Filling
Add the cheesecake filling to the cream cheese and mix until fully blended and smooth. Divide the mixture evenly between the two dishes, spreading it into an even layer.
Step 3: Add the Topping
Spoon the cherry pie filling over the cheesecake layer in each dish.
Tip: Add the topping in small portions and spread gently to keep the layers from mixing and maintain a clean look.
Step 4: Chill
Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, though overnight is best for a firmer texture.
Important: Proper chilling is key to helping the bars set so they hold their shape when cut.
Step 5: Slice and Serve
Loosen the edges with a knife, then cut each pan into 12 squares. For cleaner cuts, wipe the knife with a warm, damp cloth between slices.
These bars are creamy, convenient, and easy to transport—perfect when you want a simple dessert that still feels special.
