This Slow Cooker Creamy Italian Chicken is the ultimate comfort food—rich, tender, and packed with flavor. It combines zesty Italian dressing with creamy ingredients to create a delicious shredded chicken dish that’s perfect over pasta, rice, or potatoes.
Creamy Italian Chicken (Slow Cooker Favorite)
Ingredients:
2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup Italian salad dressing
1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
4 oz cream cheese, softened and cubed
Directions:
Step 1: Add Ingredients
Place the chicken breasts in a single layer at the bottom of the slow cooker. Pour the Italian dressing over the chicken, then spread the cream of chicken soup on top. Do not stir.
Step 2: Cook
Cover and cook on LOW for 4–6 hours or HIGH for 2½–3½ hours, until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
Step 3: Add Cream Cheese
About 30 minutes before serving, add the cubed cream cheese. Cover and let it melt, stirring occasionally until smooth and creamy.
Step 4: Shred and Serve
